The Archie Carr Refuge celebrated its 25th anniversary last year.  Friends of the Carr Refuge member Vince Lamb will join us at our meeting this month to give a presentation on the history of the Refuge.  The Carr Refuge has become one of the most important sea turtle nesting areas in the Western hemisphere.

The meeting will also be our Annual Meeting, at which current PIPS members will be electing this year's Officer and Directors.  If you are interested in participating on our Board, please let us know!
